to popular belief it is becoming clearer that using coconut oil benefits our
overall health. It is actually a heart healthy food that can help your body’s

If
you are looking for a good quality organic extra virgin coconut oil one of the
top recommended brands is Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 15-Ounce Tubs (Pack of 2)
What's the ideal amount to consume in the case of hypothyroidism? I've read different amounts ranging from 2 tbsp a day to 18 tbsp a day. 18 seems excessive though. I currently try to get in 2 tbsp but haven't felt any positive effects yet. I'm disappointed because I am DESPERATE for energy. The all day, every day fatigue and exhaustion is a nightmare.
ReplyDelete2 tbsp should be more than enough. You do not want to over do it. It is a helpful tool to support your thyroid function and can help to boost your hormones but coconut oil alone may not be enough to cure your exhaustion and fatigue if your thyroid has to much damage and is unable to produce enough hormone on its own.
ReplyDeleteYou need to be eating the right foods as well, and maybe even need hormone replacement to get your levels back to normal. You have to try to balance everything in your body.
I will say that I do feel a difference in energy when I do not use the coconut oil.
