  1. What's the ideal amount to consume in the case of hypothyroidism? I've read different amounts ranging from 2 tbsp a day to 18 tbsp a day. 18 seems excessive though. I currently try to get in 2 tbsp but haven't felt any positive effects yet. I'm disappointed because I am DESPERATE for energy. The all day, every day fatigue and exhaustion is a nightmare.

  2. 2 tbsp should be more than enough. You do not want to over do it. It is a helpful tool to support your thyroid function and can help to boost your hormones but coconut oil alone may not be enough to cure your exhaustion and fatigue if your thyroid has to much damage and is unable to produce enough hormone on its own.

You need to be eating the right foods as well, and maybe even need hormone replacement to get your levels back to normal. You have to try to balance everything in your body.
I will say that I do feel a difference in energy when I do not use the coconut oil.
